H.E. Monsignor. Ignazio Sanna

H.E. Monsignor. Ignazio Sanna
was born in Orune (Sardegna) in 1942. He has performed studies in the Seminaries of Nuoro and Cuglieri. He was ordained priest in 1967 and undertook further studies in Rome. He graduated in philosophy at La Sapienza University, in Canon Law at Lateran University and in 1972 finished Ecclesiastical Academy as well.

He was a professor of Christology & Anthropology at Lateran University, at Marianum, at Augustinianum and at the Pontifical Academy Alfonsianum.
Prof. Ignazio Sanna was responsible for the roman Sanctuary Matri Ecclesiae and was Rector of the church from 1980 to 2004. He is a member of the Apostolic Movement of Schoenstatt.

He was a spiritual director of young people in the Catholic Action.
He is a member of the Committee of Italian Cultural Project and was appointed Archbishop of Oristano in 2006.
