Prof. Laura Tortorella
Prof. Laura Tortorella (Monza 1971) has a degree in philosophy and bioethics.
She pursued further studies in these fields and then obtained a Masters in bioethics, respectively at the Catholic University of Rome and the John Paul II Institute of the University Lateranese. She is responsible for the philosophical section (Italian-Spanish) of the distance education course of ISSR [Higher Institute of Religious Studies], and editorial coordinator for the publications of ISSR of the University Regina Apostolorum.
She has translated a number of books from the Spanish to Italian, and has published articles of philosophy and bioethics in various journals. While presently acquiring a doctorate in bioethics at the University Regina Apostolorum, she is currently a professor of Philosophical Anthropology at the Pontifical Theological Faculty of St. Bonaventure in Rome. She collaborates, moreover, with the Foundation Ut Vitam Habeant.
